Trekking Switzerland

About

About me

I can show you countless valleys, waterfalls, lakes, charming villages, and beautiful yet uncrowded mountain trails.

In summer, I mainly make glacier tours, while the rest of the year, I focus on trekking.

Many of my tours combine hiking, train travel, and cycling.

I also commute to work by train and bike.

History

The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.

  • I prefer camping in all seasons.
  • Unforgettable experiences include nights in Switzerland’s many straw “hotels.”
  • I practice ice bathing using the Wim Hof Method.
  • I have completed multiple rock and ice climbing courses and a short-rope climbing course organized by the Swiss Alpine Club.
  • Some of the 4,000m+ peaks I’ve climbed: Jungfrau, Dom, Finsteraarhorn, Dufourspitze, Mont Blanc, Signalkuppe (Margherita Hut).
  • In the next three years, I plan to bike the entire Via Transilvanica.
  • In March 2024, I completed a mini-expedition camping on the polar ice in Greenland.
  • In April 2025, I will embark on a ski expedition with tent camping in Svalbard (between Greenland and the North Pole).
  • I work in IT and hold a Physics degree.
  • I have lived in Switzerland since 2000.
