Swiss Magic: Lakes, Meadows and Glaciers

Looking for an authentic experience in the Swiss Alps? 🇨🇭

I’m organizing a 4-day trekking tour in Switzerland—simple, peaceful, and free of unnecessary luxury—and I’m looking for a group to join the adventure.

What’s the plan?

🛖 Sleep once in hay and twice in 3-star hotels
🧀 Eat mostly local products – like freshly milked milk and alpine cheese
🚠 Travel only by public transport: trains, cable cars, buses, and boats
💧 Discover glacial lakes, waterfalls, and breathtaking viewpoints – far from crowds and queues
🔔 No horns – just cowbells and silence

🌌 At night, stargaze from quiet alpine meadows
📵 Sometimes there’s no signal. And that’s perfect.

🔑 The only condition?
To promise yourself that, even though it’s a vacation, you’ll do the most important “job” of your life:
to take the silence of the Swiss Alps deep into your soul – and bring it back home. 🏡

Sleep in a hotel or on hay? Comfort or unforgettable experience?

🏨 A hotel wraps you in familiar comfort: crisp beds, spotless rooms, sealed windows—everything neat and predictable. But in that very perfection lies its quiet forgetfulness. Wherever you wander, it feels the same, leaving only faint echoes in your memory.

🌾 But to sleep on hay—that is to step into another world. A timeless Swiss tradition, where authenticity breathes and nature whispers.

A humble barn, tenderly prepared for your arrival. A soft bed of hay beneath you, the scent of ancient wood in the air, and the cool embrace of mountain breeze. Warm showers await, a breakfast made by loving hands, and silence so deep it sings. Here, nature is no painting on a wall—it is your companion.

💚 You don’t just pay less. You gather soul.
📸 You don’t just rest. You weave memories.
🌟 You don’t just close your eyes. You become part of a story.

It’s not for all. But if your heart longs for a simple, true experience—like a story from childhood or whispered legends—it beckons you to try, if only once.

  • Day 1

We’ll meet at the airport in Basel or Zurich, ideally before noon. If time allows, we’ll wander through Zurich’s charming streets and maybe even stop in Lucerne—the “jewel of Switzerland,” a postcard-perfect town full of character and history. By evening, the train will carry us to Heidi’s Land, where our adventure truly begins. Our first night will be spent in a cozy 3-star hotel overlooking the serene Lake Walensee, surrounded by crisp mountain air and a calmness that words can barely capture.

  • Day 2

Our journey begins with a climb to Leistkamm, standing tall at 2101 meters—an ascent of 760 meters rewarded by a view that steals the breath away. On the descent, we’ll pause for lunch—either savoring local flavors at a quaint restaurant or enjoying your own simple feast. Then, by train, we glide toward the heart of Central Switzerland. Our first night awaits in Brunnen, where the shores of Lake Urner kiss the land, and in our unique “hay hotel,” nature becomes part of your room—tangible, alive, and all around you.

  • Day 3

The next day, we wander through Sisikon’s quiet charm before venturing on to Unterschächen, traveling only by public transport. From here, a cable car lifts us to the peaceful hamlet of Sittlisalp at 1600 meters—or to the Swiss Shepherd’s Hut Museum perched at 1850 meters—a window into pastoral traditions and timeless ways. Nearby, the Stäubi waterfall thunders, one of Switzerland’s most breathtaking natural wonders. As evening falls, the train carries us to the famed village of Saas-Fee, resting at 1800 meters, where a cozy 3-star hotel welcomes us to rest beneath alpine skies.

  • Day 4

Next unfolds an unforgettable day: We ascend by gondola to Hohsaas, lofty at 3,142 meters, Where eighteen peaks over four thousand meters stand sentinel— A majestic sea of giants stretching to the horizon. Then, gently, we glide back down by gondola, Before rising once more on a cable car to Längfluh at 2,869 meters. From there, a breathtaking hike leads us down to Saas-Fee’s alpine embrace at 1,800 meters—a journey carved by nature’s grandeur. As evening falls, we part ways—returning to Zurich or any place you desire within Switzerland, carrying memories as vast as the mountains themselves.
